Once upon a time two best friends dressed up for a costume party. Jenny dressed as Sandy, and Anna dressed as Rizzo. The roles and personalities suited the pair, and they had a blast that night as Pink Ladies. When the world shut down to face the pandemic, and their teaching careers shifted online, Sandy + Rizzo was created. Jenny and Anna began pouring resin art earrings, and when they shared the pieces with friends and family, the response was encouraging and supportive. From that point on, they have continued to pour, create, grow, and share. Every Monday night, Sandy and Rizzo broadcast an interactive LIVE video on Facebook. Their Pink Ladies tune in to view the live for a chance to collect some of the coveted pieces. The community of women who call themselves Pink Ladies support one another and share the Pink Lady love on each live. It’s a beautiful part of the Sandy + Rizzo story.
Each week, the themes are chosen by Sandy and Riz, and they have ranged from The Beatles to Wicked to Dolly Parton. Inspiration is everywhere for Jenny and Anna: from plays, films, and musicals to songs and time periods. They are self-taught resin artists who love to pour and create a story in their art jewelry. The entire experience has been an amazing journey, and this is only the beginning!
