I specialize in Ceramics/Pottery, Drawing, Watercolor
All of my artwork is inspired by my family and my love of the South and mainly
Louisiana. I personally hand illustrate all my works using watercolor and pencil.
My smaller ceramic pieces and ornaments are handmade by me. My larger pieces slip cast for me by a local company and I hand paint, glaze and fire all the pieces in my home studio in Shreveport. My art prints reproductions and kitchen towels are also printed by local companies in Shreveport. This is very important to me because of my love of Louisiana and supporting other artists and craftsmen like myself.
I believe that your foundation tells you where you begin, but not where you will end up. I believe family is there to help you along the way and the fun that you have is a perk of the journey. I believe that class, whimsy and a touch of charm never go out of style. I believe your love of the South defines you as much as your monogram and signature cocktail. I believe there is something to be said for a handwritten note and orignal artwork gracing your wall. These should not be a part of the past but always in the present.
